For those who are stopping over night, here on a work assignment, not looking for recreation... this would work for you.... as long as you are assigned a level site.
We stayed in a 42 ft, 5th wheel.
The staff was sensational, the campground was quiet and clean but the spaces were very small. It was definitely the smallest spots that I've ever stayed in. They were long enough but you were right on top of the campers in front of you and behind you. Needed to cut out about half the spots and charge a little more for the stay.
Management and staff are very friendly and accommodating and the hosts went above and beyond to help.
We have stayed here long term on two different occasions. Some spots are uneven and tight, but that really only accounts for one row. Our first spot was a smaller one but still nice and easily accommodated our 42' fifth wheel and truck. The second was a premium spot that was large with a yard. The employees and management were always friendly and fair. We never had a problem with the water. They have groundskeepers during the week that do a great job of keeping the place nice and tidy. Clean bathhouse and laundry facility. They just added a propane station as well. Also close to Charlotte so there are plenty of places to shop and dine. I would definitely recommend staying here.
The park is well maintained and very safe. The location is excellent for traveling into Charlotte and to the airport. There are seasonal people. Most are workers sent to the area and are very quiet and friendly.
Great RV park. Plenty of room. The people who stay here are friendly. RV groumds are well maintained and clean. Staff is accomodating to your needs. If we are ever in South Carolina again we will definitely stay here.
For those who are recreational campers, you will want to keep searching. Short term campers are assigned a pull through site that is long, however the depth is minimal and your outside seating is adjacent to the road. Site 140 is half red dirt. The site can only be classified as a pull through, if... no one is assigned to the spot next to you... otherwise... it is a nightmare to try and hook to a fifth wheel with someone on the spot adjacent to you. There are no fire rings at the camp sites, there is one fire ring for the entire park to share. This park is not set up for recreational camping.
We had no issues while we stayed there long term. It is a great value for the price.
