Unfortunately, you could tell that housekeeping didn't do much housekeeping at this motel 6. Dirt under the table, a used cotton swab still in trash can and a used bar of soap between the wall and toilet.
I love that I can bring my pet since I am a single. Helps me feel safe. This Motel 6 is nicely updated and very clean. Very nice!
We have stayed here quite a few times and have enjoyed it for the most part. Recently there have been quite a few issues in regards to A/C units functioning properly. Our previous stay to this ended in a voucher for a nights stay due to a pinging and vibrating air conditioner waking us up every 10 minutes. Management was gracious and understanding that time while providing numerous apologies along with the voucher after hearing the recording of it on my phone. This last time went a bit different. As we lay down to sleep after a long day at Carowinds, we were greeted with a sound that resembled a jet taking off and continued that way full throttle for the entire duration of the cooling process only to come to a loud abrupt exhale. Upon talking to management in regards to it, i was told they were working on the air conditioners to make them quieter. Process doesn't seem to be going well. We will be finding other accommodations in our future endeavors to Carowinds.
I don't like having to pay for WiFi service. The basic service is almost like not having service at all. The premium is not much better.
All in all, a good place to stop and sleep.
For a Motel 6 its fairly nice. Renovated and has no carpet in the rooms which I like. It has a weird odor though. No idea what it is. For an inexpensive place to stay for Carowinds I'd recommend it. One note is while you are while you are within walking distance of Carowinds you have to cross an incredibly busy road to get to the park. There is no safe spot to cross as even the nearby stoplight has no crosswalk. The municipality really should fix that.
Great place. Friendly and welcoming staff. Cleaner than I expected when i walked in. Buidling and furnishings all look new. Walls, floors, and doorways are clean. The housekeeping staff seems to constantly working to maintain cleanliness. They are extremely polite and nice, while happy to accommodate your every need. The management staff is not only attentive and extremely helpful, they are genuinely nice and polite and interact with the customers like every interaction is of utmost importance. Bobby MaCarty went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as humanly possible. His customer service, ability to interact with customers in such a positive manner, as well as his overall great attitude make this hotel better for having him. I recommend asking for him if u plan to stay here. Thanks

The bed was comfortable. The sheets were a little worn.
